Niagara Regional Police attended 6060 Young St. in West Lincoln at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday night to find the house fully engulfed in flames.
According to police, witnesses to the fire reported observing two suspicious vehicles leaving the scene of the fire prior to police arrival.
Police immediately attended the area and located one of the vehicles on Thirty Road, just north of Young Street.
It is alleged that the four parties attended 6060 Young Street, entered the abandoned residence, and lit it on fire, say police. Damage to the residence is estimated at $200,000. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
It is further alleged the involved parties also attended 6715 Smithville Rd. in West Lincoln on Saturday June 28, entered the abandoned residence, and lit it on fire.
Damage to 6715 Smithville Rd. is estimated at $100,000. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
A 19-year-old Woodstock man is charged with two counts of arson causing damage to property and one count of possession of incendiary material.
An 18-year-old West Lincoln man is charged with two counts of arson causing damage to personal property.
Two young offenders, who cannot be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, have been charged with two counts of arson causing damage to property.
