Vineland CIP takes next step at Lincoln Council

The overhauls of Lincnoln’s commercial cores took another step forward with the Town’s Planning Committee putting its stamp of approval on the next step of a Community Improvement Plan for Vineland at its meeting Monday night.

That step was to receive a report detailing an overview of the program and to have staff prepared to compile a detailed report once all supporting agencies have had an opportunity to provide input.

“We put the Beamsville CIP in place in 2011. It has encouraged many businesses to make substantive
changes to the facades of their buildings, making the downtown area look and feel upbeat,” said Ald. Rob Foster, chair of Lincoln’s Planning Committee.
