Five contest race for vacated Lincoln mayor’s chair

Lincoln residents can look forward to the most hotly contested mayoral race in decades with five solid candidates in the race for the mayor’s chair.

Rob CondottaROB CONDOTTA

Rob Condotta has been a resident of Lincoln for 26 years. He and his wife, Barbara Honsberger Condotta, have daughters, Britney and Chloe. They are grandparents to Chloe’s and her husband, Justin’s newborn, Beau Robert.

With more than three decades of municipal infrastructure experience and eight years as Lincoln councillor, Rob says he has gained a wealth of experience.

Alvin DanyluckALVIN DANYLUCK

Alvin Danyluck was born and raised in Lincoln, giving him an excellent knowledge of the community.

During his tenure as a Lincoln councillor, Danyluck sat on every committee and sub-committee the Town has, chairing many.

He has also been involved with many community groups serving as Beamsville Lions president three times. He is also a retired captain of the Lincoln Fire Department.

Sandy EastonSANDRA EASTON

Sandra Easton was born into the Romagnoli family and raised in Beamsville.

Sandra’s and her husband Tony’s son David, and wife Kathy live in Beamsville with their two kids. As a Registered Nurse, her professional career spanned over 30 years. She holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration. Sandra has previously served as a two-term ward councillor in Lincoln and was the Chair of Finance and Administration.

Eric GilbertERIC GILBERT

Eric Gilbert is a Newfoundland native who now makes his home in Beamsville.

Eric has spent his entire working career in the tire industry with his Ericway Tire earning many awards at the local, provincial, national and international levels for everything community work to customer service.

His campaign theme is, “Let’s Listen to Lincoln”.

John KraltJOHN KRALT

John Kralt is a lifelong resident of Lincoln. Married to Martha, they have four adult children and six grandchildren. John and his family have owned and operated Lincoln Florists.

John has served as a director of Community Care of West Niagara for six years, is a charter member of Rotary Club of Lincoln. He has also served as chair of Providence Church’s council.

He is currently deputy mayor being first elected as a councillor in 2006.
