11th hour stop-work order too late for VPS’s 1895 school

Order issued Tuesday morning, demo started Monday afternoon

If a stop-work order was in the cards, it should have been played much earlier in the hand.

That would be one way to interpret comments by District School Board of Niagara communications officer Brett Sweeney after an injunction halting work at the site for 10 days was issued in Ontario Superior Court Tuesday morning.
