Get out to those arena meetings

Never can it be said we were never happy to see a full page taken by someone in Niagara This Week after the Township of West Lincoln has finally attempted to communicate with its taxpayers regarding public meetings= regarding the proposed community centre project.

It was never a concern that NewsNow would get an ad from the township. Why would they?

It has been made clear on this page that West Lincoln Council has bungled its way through two major issues: downtown on-street parking, and the proposed community centre project.

NewsNow is not the publication that focuses merely on the township youth programs and such. Millions of dollars and the municipality’s financial viability are at stake with the community centre project.

Regardless of where the Town’s marketing dollars are spent, taxpayers can rest assured they will find what they need in NewsNow’s pages.

Let’s just hope that people turn out and a proper course of action is achieved.
