Grimsby CIBC robbed Saturday

Saturday, Dec. 12, at about 3:15 p.m. Niagara Regional Police Service were called the CIBC Grimsby branch for a reported robbery.

During the investigation, police were able to obtain an image of the suspect. He is described as a white male approximately 20-30 years of age wearing dark coloured clothing.

Investigation revealed that a lone male had entered the CIBC bank while armed with a weapon. After receiving a quantity of cash from the teller the suspect fled on foot toward the rear parking lot.

The suspect is described as a white male and wearing a dark jacket and baseball hat.

The incident remains under investigation by the Grimsby Detective Office and anyone with information is asked to call Investigators at 905-688-4111 ext: 5400.
