A lot of questions have been answered with the opening of The Forty Public House last Thursday.
For many months, the public has inquired what would go into the former Joe Dog’s location in the centre of Grimsby’s core.
The Forty Public House Co-owner Chris Biggs has the answer.
“We’ve tried to do something upscale, different from other places in the area” said Biggs.
“People will have to come in and check us out to see what we’re all about.”
The decor is rustic but upscale, as will be the menu, said Biggs.
In the photos, Co-owner Mark Wood, left, and Matt Russo took a break from reconfiguring the bar area about three weeks ago. Photo #2 Wood, co-owner Chris Biggs and Russo were putting the finishing touches on things as the readied to open their doors officially March 10 Co-owner Brett Poole was not on hand.
