Blades dissect South Kent for Juvenile title

The Lincoln Blades Juvenile team defeated the South Kent Chiefs in the OMHA finals three games to one Saturday at the Flem-ing Centre.

In the decisive game the Blades came out flying putting a ton of pressure on South Kent with the Chiefs netminder making many miraculous saves keeping the game scoreless until a laser from the point from AJ Boodoo – assisted by Ben Humble – put the Blades up 1-0 in the final minute of the first period.

Once the second period rolled around the Blades got into penalty trouble giving South Kent the opportunity to tie up the game 1-1.

After the flood between the second and third periods, the boys were back playing their style and flying.
