As work continues at the new West Niagara Fairgrounds, officials have landed a major event – The Royal Canadian Mounted Police’s Musical Ride.
Thursday, Aug. 18 the Ride will take over the Mud Street site.
“The West Niagara Agriculture Society is excited to present the RCMP musical ride at the new
fairgrounds,” said general manager Albert Witteveen.
To get the event, Witteveen said they had to look ahead.
“We put in a request last fall to see what the Ride’s availability was for this season and they chose our site as the first show in the area,” said Witteveen.
“It then heads to do numerous shows from West Niagara to Windsor for the fall fair season. We are excited to host this as a stand-alone event for our community.”
Tickets sales and show details are being worked out for the event. Watch future editions of NewsNow for full
details.
