Sunset Music Series gets underway on July 5 at The Rotary Shell, Charles Daley Park, in Jordan.
Everyone is invited. Admission and parking are free.
Weekly concerts run from 7-8:30pm, through to Aug. 30.
Come early and enjoy a pre-concert nosh. Food vendors are at the park beginning at 5:30 p.m. – Butterballs Express with barbeque fare; Eco-Defenders with ice cream; Tays Treats with baked goods.
Treat yourself to a fresh brew from Tim Hortons coffee truck or a sampling of local wines being served up by Twenty Valley wineries.
The Sunset Music Series is a self-sustaining community project, organized by the Rotary Club of Lincoln and Town of Lincoln with the support of Note for Note Professional Music Productions, and a host of community volunteers.
Ron Kielstra volunteers as master of ceremonies for the series.
“Since 2010, this project has grown and flourished because of the generous participation of hundreds of talented musicians and steadfast interest of thousands of community members,” said Kielstra.
“And, to make it all possible, we are ever grateful to our loyal supporters for their financial donations.”
