Come get ReRooted in Lincoln Oct. 5

Lincoln is going to be a very busy place on Saturday, Oct. 5.
That is the date set aside for Lincoln Rerooted, a day-long festival with special events going on all over the town.
The festival will run all day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Keeping with the theme of getting “rerooted”, Lincoln is asking residents and visitors alike to explore the roots of the town.
Throughout the Saturday, many sites and business will be openning their doors to visitors from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Check out Bench Brewing in Vineland, St. John’s Anglican Church in Jordan or even the Ivy Mason Lodge in Beamsville just to name a few. Downtown Beamsville will be the site of ‘The Fling on King’ starting at 3 p.m. and continuing until the ned of the day. King St. will be closed off for a street party full of fun, live music, food trucksand children’s activities.
The event kicks off with the ‘King St. Kitchen’ and children’s entertainment at 3 p.m.
At 5 p.m., reknown magician Nicholas
Wallace will take the stage to mezmerize and astonish crowds with his illusion. Afterwards at 6 p.m., Niagara Dance and Fitness Studio will perform their captivating dance showcase.
Then, to close off the night, Canada’s premier party band, The Associates will get everyone moving and dancing into the night starting at 7 p.m.
With temporary closures on King St. and Beam St. for the Fling on King, the u-Linc will offer shuttle services for the day. Routes will go from the street party to parking at BDSS and the Fleming Centre.
