Smithville Beer Store mothballed

Smithville’s Beer Store at The Village Square was closed permanently after its lease expired.

The reasoning to the closure remains a mystery, with inquiries made to Bill Walker, media contact listed for the conglomerate of 30 Ontario-based brewers whick operate the retail outlets.

It is widely believed grocery store sale impacts led to the closure, but Walker did not return any messages prior to deadline.
