“Sometimes in the winds of change, we find our new direction.”

I portray a modest personality when it comes to my true persona which appears rather unique for one who would choose to actively enroll in politics. My positive attitude and great sense of humour helps me along the way.
I come to you as a new citizen of the town of Grimsby but not new to the political arena. I proudly served as a St. Catharines City Councillor for Port Dalhousie Ward 6 for two consecutive 4 year terms. I gained valuable knowledge and experience serving the good citizens of Port Dalhousie. It was both a privilege and an honour to give back to the Port Dalhousie community by providing sincere and honest representation.
Since re-locating to beautiful Grimsby my wife, Mary, and I have been greeted with nothing but a genuine spirit of kindness from its citizens. So what better way to demonstrate our appreciation than to offer my services to the community as a Grimsby Ward 4 Town Councillor. It is so very important to us to always be willing to give back to a community that offers so much.
The citizens of Grimsby Ward 4 and the citizens of Grimsby at large need to be reassured that the individuals representing them understand that their major responsibility is on of SERVICE to their constituents. Our town politicians must be willing to set aside their egos and work hard to guarantee their willingness to place the “best interests” of the citizens of Grimsby at the forefront of all their decision making.
As a thriving community, we need a fresh start and we need to re-evaluate our goals and project where we see the town of Grimsby fifty years down the road. We need to encourage inclusion as we all share in the vision of how we want to see our town evolve over time. For this to happen, we must invite visionaries to join us as we work together in a mutually respectful environment to establish the future of our town. Such a process will involve all partners of the community working together to accomplish common goals and a unified vision of the future of Grimsby.
The past term of political office in Grimsby has been taunted with turmoil, disagreement and questionable decorum. Our citizens deserve better and they should rightfully demand it. Our community needs to heal from the mistakes of the past, forget about it and move forward in a positive and prosperous manner. To do this, we must undergo a change in personalities and attitudes. Only then can we get down to the real business at hand and that is effectively and efficiently managing the business and needs of our town of Grimsby.
As your Grimsby Councillor Ward 4, I, LEN STACK, will strive for EXCELLENCE through SERVICE and COMMITMENT. I am KNOWLEDGEABLE, PERSONABLE, and above all TRANSPARENT and ACCOUNTABLE.
