Dear Reader,
In the face of major declines in revenue and significantly escalating costs to bring you your local news the way you like it, NewsNow is renewing its Voluntary Pay program this Spring.
Since the onset of COVID-19, we have had countless readers inquire about ways they can support us. With all community events cancelled and many of our traditional advertisers shuttered under government order, there is very little we can do about our the situation if we choose to press on and keep publishing.
After much discussion in recent weeks, we have decided to press on. We do not want to abandon the community when we are most needed!
We have implemented every bit of belt tightening we can to control costs, but some aspects of the business have seen costs skyrocket. Whether it is a family with kids home from school or a business operator who cannot open the doors of their establishment, everyone has some component of their life which is beyond their control.
If you like to support NewsNow in its efforts? This is your opportunity. If no, we will love you just the same!
Rain (or snow) or shine, you will always – each and every week – receive your copy of NewsNow.
That will NOT change!!!!
Should you CHOOSE to offer any level of support, here is how it will go:
We will back HST out of each payment to make things as simple as possible.
You can pay by cheque or cash (bring into the office or mail), credit card (call our office at 289-235-9500) or e-transfer (send to: subscriptions@wn3.ca, make the security answer: newsnow). Or use the online payment form below to subscribe via credit card.
For more information, please do not hesitate to call, email or drop in. All inquiries are welcome!!
Thanks very much for your time and consideration.
